September 1, 2022 – The two-day round table discussion organized by Saathi in partnership with ChildSafeNet concludes with the stakeholders highlighting the urgent need of establishing a hotline service in fighting child sexual abuse material (CSAM) online. High-level government officials, representatives from law enforcement agencies, experts, and national and international rights activists working to tackle online child sexual abuse discussed the trends, reflected on challenges, and shared the possible solutions to make digital platforms a safer virtual space for children to be in. They highlighted the urgent need of establishing and running a hotline service in fighting child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
