May 5, 2025, Doti – Saathi, under the Empowered Women Prosperous Nepal (EWPN) program, provided technical support for the preparation and finalization of the Doti Safe House Guideline with the support of UNFPA. This included organizing consultations with local-level representatives and other key stakeholders to refine the content and ensure the guideline is responsive to local needs and aligned with national standards.

The guideline serves as a critical tool for the effective management and operation of the safe house. It outlines clear procedures, roles, and responsibilities for service providers, ensuring consistency, accountability, and the provision of survivor-centered support services. By institutionalizing standards for protection, care, and coordination, the guideline enhances the quality and sustainability of services offered to women and children facing gender-based violence.

The guideline was officially endorsed and published in the municipal gazette on 5th May, 2025.
