June 30, 2024, Kailali, Far Western Province – Saathi, with the support of UNFPA, conducted a three-day training on Gender Transformative Approach and Shelter Management for Safe Houses/Shelter staff from June 28 to 30, 2024, in Dhangadhi. This training, part of the “Empowered Women, Prosperous Nepal” project, was attended by staff from Baitadi, Bajhang, Bajura, Doti, Kailali, and Kanchanpur.
The training focused on a survivor-centered approach, laws on gender-based violence, GBV case management and referral, quality services, psychosocial first aid, management of vicarious trauma, and self-care. The three-day event was full of learning and sharing, significantly enhancing the participants’ skills and knowledge.
