May 09, 2025, Kathmandu – Saathi organized an inter-Safer Home quiz competition, bringing together children from all four Safer Homes to establish learning, engagement, and a spirit of healthy competition. Each home was represented by a team of four children, for the competition, from Grades 7 to 10, while the rest of the children actively participated as the audience. To ensure inclusivity and engagement, audience members were also invited to answer questions in between competition, adding an interactive and exciting element to the event. The quiz covered a wide range of topics including general knowledge, national and international current affairs, science, history, and literature.
Such events play a vital role in promoting intellectual growth, teamwork, and confidence among children. It helps encourage curiosity, build awareness of the world beyond their immediate surroundings, and help develop critical thinking skills.
Additionally, the experience of participating in a quiz competition helped enhance communication skills and feeling of togetherness and unity among children across the homes. Overall, the event created a positive and stimulating learning environment that empowered children to learn while having fun.
