MPWC HANDOVER PROGRAM – NUWAKOT

With initiation of Nuwakot District Child Welfare Board, Saathi President Uma Rajya Laxmi Shah handed over Multi Purpose Women Center (MPWC) Building to Women and Child Office (WCO). Under the presence of Mayor and Deputy Mayor, WDO Committed to run the President’s Women Advancement Programme (‘Rastrapati Mahila Utthan Karyakram’) from MPWC building. This ensures the sustainability of our MPWC as government took ownership of it. The objectives of the programme are to support women for equal participation in all stages of nation-building and to promote equal opportunity and social dignity of Nepali women. MPWC will also serve as safe house for vulnerable Women, Children, Senior Citizen and Differently able people as well.
