Kanchanpur, February 20, 2025 – Saathi organized an awareness program on online violence and cyber safety at Janauthan Adharbhut School, Krishnapur Municipality, aiming to sensitize school children on the risks of online violence and abuse. The session focused on educating children about different forms of online violence, preventive measures, and ways to protect their social media accounts. Participants were also informed about legal assistance options in case of online abuse.
This initiative was conducted as part of the GOAL Project (Generating Ownership, Awareness, and Liberty), implemented by Saathi under the auspices of AEIN Luxembourg. The program sensitized 76 school children, equipping them with essential knowledge on digital safety and their role in addressing online violence within their communities.
Through such interventions, Saathi continues to enhance children’s awareness and resilience, fostering a safer digital space for the younger generation.
