Janakpurdham, Madhesh Province, 29 August 2024 — Saathi held a provincial consultation in Janakpurdham as part of the ongoing civil society review for the Beijing+30 Report. The event brought together 75 participants, including provincial lawmakers, locally elected leaders, civil society representatives, rights activists, youth, and development partners, to contribute to a comprehensive national report on gender equality.

The consultation concluded with remarks from Pramod Kumar Jaiswal, Madhesh Province’s Minister of Sports and Social Welfare, who reaffirmed the government’s commitment to advancing women’s rights. He emphasized that achieving gender equality requires collaboration between the government and civil society.
