Kanchanpur, March 7, 2025 – Saathi organized a cyber safety awareness program on 23rd Falgun 2081 at Jhalari Educational Academy under the GOAL Project, supported by AEIN. The session aimed to educate students on online violence, cybercrime, and digital safety.
Held at Shuklaphanta Municipality-11, the program saw participation from 52 attendees (34 female, 18 male), including teachers, journalists, and Saathi representatives. Principal Dinesh Badu inaugurated the event, emphasizing the importance of cyber safety education.
The session covered types of cybercrime and online abuse, legal provisions, social media security, and reporting mechanisms. An interactive Q&A session allowed students to address concerns and gain practical knowledge. Students learned about password security, online harassment reporting, and safe digital practices. They expressed interest in similar programs for other schools and communities. The event successfully raised awareness, equipping students with essential knowledge to navigate the digital world safely.
